Request QuoteLloyd's Register Part 7, Chapter 15 requires that centralised refrigeration systems — covering provision stores and air-conditioning aboard passenger and cargo vessels — are designed, installed and maintained to class standard.
This encompasses the full primary refrigerant circuit: compressors, condensers, evaporators, air handling units, fan coil units and all interconnecting pipework. Every component must be serviceable to a standard that satisfies flag state, class society and MLC 2006 requirements.
ANP Marine tool kits are assembled specifically for engineers working to these standards — giving your team the professional-grade diagnostic, servicing and commissioning equipment needed to maintain class compliance on every job.
Discuss Your Requirements"The refrigeration system is to include the refrigeration compressor(s), condenser(s), evaporator(s), direct expansion air handling and fan coil units, interconnecting primary refrigerant piping system and fittings."
Ships complying with LR Ch 15 requirements are eligible for the optional machinery class notation RPA — Refrigeration Machinery for Provision Stores and Air-conditioning.
