Planned Maintenance

Dry Dock & Port Call Support
Built Around Your Schedule.

Ship superintendents and technical managers work to fixed windows. We do too. ANP Marine deploys engineers to drydocks and port calls with pre-agreed work scopes, coordinated with your classification surveyor, and timed to the hour — so your vessel leaves on schedule, fully certified.

01
Work Pack Review & Planning

We receive your planned maintenance list, defect reports and class requirements — typically 4–6 weeks ahead of drydock or port call. We produce a detailed work scope, labour plan and spares list aligned to your dockyard schedule.

02
Class Surveyor Coordination

Our engineers liaise directly with Lloyd's Register, DNV GL, Bureau Veritas and other class societies. We prepare the technical documentation, witness test schedules and certification packages required for survey sign-off during the drydock window.

03
Multi-System Execution & Handover

We manage concurrent work packages across HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, pumps and valves — with daily progress reporting to the superintendent. Full service records, test certificates and class documentation are handed over before departure.

Engineering Work Scopes
Pump & seal overhaulBallast, bilge and cargo pump mechanical seal replacement, bearing renewal and alignment — timed to hull inspection windows
Valve & pipeline integritySea chest valve overhaul, sea valve replacement and pipework inspection concurrent with underwater hull work
HVAC system overhaulFull chiller service, AHU refurbishment and VRF system upgrade — including MLC 2006 compliance certification for flag state
Refrigeration & cold storesCompressor overhaul, refrigerant conversion to low-GWP alternatives, heat exchanger renewal and provision plant recommissioning
Compressed air & starting systemsStarting air compressor overhaul, control air system service and pressure vessel inspection within class periodic survey scope
Coordination & Documentation
Class surveyor liaisonPre-drydock technical meetings, survey attendance, defect notification management and class condition closure — all handled by ANP engineers
Dockyard schedule integrationWork scopes sequenced to dockyard crane availability, dry dock flooding schedule and outfitter access — no programme delays from our scope
Superintendent reportingDaily written progress updates, photo documentation and against-plan tracking sent directly to the technical superintendent throughout drydock
Certification handover packTest certificates, service records, class approval letters, refrigerant records and compliance documentation ready for departure

Planning lead times for drydock work scopes
For a full multi-system drydock work pack, we typically need 4–6 weeks ahead of docking date to produce the work scope, source all spares and coordinate class surveyor attendance. For planned port call maintenance, we can mobilise with as little as 48 hours notice. Contact us early — earlier engagement means better pricing, better parts availability and zero programme risk.
